Diana DeGarmo dishes on wedding details

It was a match made in “American Idol” heaven a few years back when former contestants Ace Young and Diana DeGarmo found each other. After an impressive proposal live on the “Idol” season 11 finale? in 2012, the lovebirds wasted no time in planning a wedding of their dreams. With the big day fast approaching – they’re set to tie the knot June 1 – DeGarmo shared some special details with fans on People magazine’s People TV station. 

The clips show off everything from the couple’s creative wedding ideas to the special shoes DeGarmo will be wearing as her something blue. However, one thing that’s being kept under wraps until the walk down the aisle is DeGarmo’s gown. She admitted she tried on dozens of beautiful wedding dresses and is sure the one she selected is “beautiful and will make Ace cry.”

For her something blue, DeGarmo is paying homage to her Southern girl charm by wearing blue cowgirl boots under her stunning gown. In another episode on People’s website, the bride-to-be excitedly discusses her and Young’s registry and how she made sure to include practical items like a KitchenAid mixer as well as a few fun and sassy presents to keep the spark alive.
