Growing up, every girl has been told that her wedding day is her day. Now that you’re almost to that momentous occasion it hardly feels like it, right? Catering, seating arrangements, location, traditional vs modern practices. Sometimes your wedding feels like it’s being planned around everyone and everything but you. A Crown Jewel for Your Delaware Wedding
The Rehoboth Beach Country Club is a crown jewel tucked away on the Rehoboth Bay away from the hustle and crowds of the beach. There are so many photo opportunities with waterfront views, golf course landscaping, and the elegance of a a spacial club house and ballroom. Weddings can be held indoors or out. The reception ballroom also has a side room attached for pre-dinner h’ordeuvres. It’s decor can be as unique as each wedding couple. Learn more about The Rehoboth Beach Country Club here.
Lavendar & Lace & Grandmother’s Gown
There is an incredible sweetness captured by Creative Image Associates Photography for this Delaware beach wedding of Lexy and Drew. A throw back feel to a time when weddings focused on the bride and groom and their loving future.
Hearts Race at Heritage Shores
Morning Cup of Wedding has a great wedding to inspire your fourth of July weekend. As most of us know, America’s favorite way to celebrate is loud and proud, but fireworks aren’t only the perfect way to end a day of barbecuing.
Summer is for Fun
We’re almost to the holiday weekend and Morning Cup of Wedding wants to pack a little Fourth of July fun into your hump day. We all know besides watermelon and the grill what really makes a Delaware Independence Day is the beach! Dover Rent-All Tents & Events got some great photos from Austin and Kate of their summer wedding at Cullen Street Beach in Rehoboth.
My favorite detail about this wedding has to be the exit ceremony where, instead of rice, several beach balls were tossed back and forth between the guests as the bride and groom exited to a very fun photo shoot with their wedding party.
With the great lighting and dance floor set up by Dover Rent-All Tents & Events, the back yard of a Dewey Beach beach house became an amazing reception venue with a gorgeous sunset view.

What’s A Little Rain?
Normally, friends and family are burying whiskey in the back yard and praying their hardest, doing their best to chase away any sign of grey clouds, but this Morning Cup of Wedding is starting to think it may not be so bad. Props to Larkin and Chris and Moonloop Photography for braving this downpour on the green of Judge Morris Estate, White Clay Creek in Newark, but what a payoff of incredible photos! A rainy day wedding is definitely proving itself to be good luck with amazing memories like this.

A Break In the Clouds
This past week has been full of rain and grey skies, but this Morning Cup of Wedding’s couple were lucky enough to get a break in the clouds on their big day. Kerry Harrison of Kerry Harrison Photography got the timing just right before the big storm hit on the grounds of Hagley Museum and Library. Talk about calm before the storm too. The garden scenery is so serene and romantic. I’d like to think that peek of sunshine coupled with the bright yellow of the train car are signs for a bright and happy marriage for Laura and Adam.

A Disney Wedding in Delaware
Morning Cup of Wedding says that you don’t have to take a trip to Florida to have a Disney Wedding! The Waterfall in Wilmington, Delaware can help you whip up a “grande parade” of a wedding with a bit of “Goofy”, even if he is on ice! May your lives together always have “MAGIC”! Arrive in Old World Style
This Morning Cup of Wedding is here to teach a thing or two about making an entrance. Every bride has that moment perfectly framed in their memory. The moment the doors open where everyone turns to see the beauty of the long awaited bride. Well, Rachel took this a step up in the coolest way. Her and her bridesmaids arrived in front of friends and family by horse drawn carriage! I can only imagine how exciting this moment was for everyone.
Linton Photography went above and beyond to catch all the best parts of Rachel and Ryan’s wedding. Rachael had this to say:
“Thank you to [Linton Photography] for being not only FANTASTIC photographers but for being my emotional support and helping us have so much fun…you guys are the best!”

Fire The Cannon!
Morning Cup of Wedding is here to launch you into the week…with a CANNON! Angela and Richard really knew how to use a historical venue to the most awesome potential. Their wedding reception at Hagley Museum and Library had a strong start with a cannon demonstration, starting off their marriage a literal bang! Their lovely wedding cake, which was transported all the way from Virginia, nicely complimented the mother of the groom’s homemade, traditional Vietnamese gelatin cake. One of my favorite touches were the large origami-like flowers that hung with the puff balls from the ceiling. They made a great decorative atmosphere with their memorizing detail. Not to mention the great atmosphere in Hagley’s gallery I! The low wooden beams give the crisp space a delightful mix of classically simple and rustic farmhouse.
